I recently revisited De La Tour and was delighted by the charming hotel. The staff were excellent and the decor had a quirky and pleasant feel, with antiques and decorative items throughout. The location in the center of a beautiful and quiet area was a highlight. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant offered high-quality cuisine, although it was on the pricey side. I particularly enjoyed treating myself with a meal after a long day of traveling. The hotel's central location allowed for easy strolls around the charming town.
Nothing for me 😊

The rooms at Hotel De La Tour were cozy and comfortable, with premium bedding and air conditioning that ensured a restful night. The free WiFi was a great addition, allowing me to stay connected and browse the web easily. The desk and TV in every room added a practical touch.
Personally, I found the internet access via LAN a bit inconvenient. But hey, that's just my preference, and others might still enjoy it.

Felt like a time traveler with all the ancient decorations. Excellent staff and food. Wanted to extend my stay, but had to wait until I invent a time machine!
Hand shower in the bath? Oh come on!

We had a blast exploring the Bresse Golf Course and Golf du Clou, which were both just a short distance from the hotel. The location was convenient, with the airport only 46 km away. The hotel had amazing recreational facilities, like a beautiful garden, where we had so much fun hanging out and relaxing. Plus, the free WiFi and private parking were definitely a bonus. We also loved the fact that we could indulge in some golfing nearby. our stay was so enjoyable and memorable!
The only thing we wished for was a livelier nightlife scene for young party-goers like us. While the hotel had fantastic facilities and a great atmosphere, it would have been even more fun if there were some late-night activities or a buzzing bar for us to enjoy after a long day of exploring and golfing.

had a lovely stay in Chatillon-sur-Chalaronne, but this time at a different hotel. De La Tour exceeded my expectations - beautiful central location, cozy decor, and helpful staff. Breakfast in the garden next to the pool was a treat.

The hotel is centrally located and there is free parking nearby. The medieval building is beautiful and very comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodated my dietary needs for breakfast. This hotel is clean and has good facilities. The hotel is conveniently situated near a park and an art gallery.
Couldn't fault.

During my stay over Christmas, I found the location of the hotel to be perfect! It was within close proximity to attractions and free parking, making it convenient. The beautifully decorated medieval building had character and charm, which I enjoyed. The staff was accommodating and adjusted to my dietary requirements, serving a satisfying breakfast without French bread.
The room temperature was difficult to control, and the noise from the street kept me up at night. the prices at the restaurant were expensive, particularly the wine.

Very interesting decor with fascinating objects everywhere. The restaurant was excellent with a wonderful chilled pea soup and olive tapanard with crusty baguette. The traditional French property and the lovely bedroom with extra special touches were also impressive.
The lack of basic comforts such as air conditioning and the inconvenience of being allocated a room in an annex, 10 minutes away by car. The impersonal and uncomfortable breakfast area in the cramped reception with cluttered space was also a letdown.

The hotel offered excellent value for money, with affordable prices for a delightful stay. The attention to detail was impressive, with unique decor and fascinating objects throughout the hotel. The location, just a short walk from a beautiful park, added to the overall charm of the experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing exceptional service.
All was well, no improvements needed.

This hotel is located right in the centre of a charming, historic town, with plenty of sites to visit nearby. it is situated near a park about 150 m away, providing easy access to green spaces. The bathroom is modern and spacious, while the room itself is filled with interesting, antique furnishings.
The staff seemed unprepared to deal with a full hotel, which impacted the service and overall experience.
